These are the house rules for the Clevedon Community board. The wider agreement is in the Terms & Conditions. This page is written in plain English. It is not formal legal advice.

Be a good neighbour

Posts, comments, and events should be useful to people nearby. Be honest, be kind, and stick to local life. A display name is optional. If you do not set one, you appear as Resident.

No spam

• Do not flood the board with repeated ads or copied posts.
• Do not send quote requests that are not genuine.
• Do not scrape the board or use it to build a mailing list.
• Do not share someone else’s private contact details without their say-so.

What you publish

You keep responsibility for what you post. Only share photos and text you have the right to use. Public posts and comments can be read by anyone who opens the town page.

We can remove content

You can delete your own posts. A town moderator can remove a post or comment, and we can take down a listing or event that breaks these rules or causes trouble. If something on the board needs attention, email us and tell us where it is.

Businesses

A listing is the business’s own page. The business is responsible for its description, prices, photos, booking link, and payment link. We list local businesses. We do not become the seller, the employer, or a party to the booking.

If something goes wrong

The board is a community tool. Check details with the person or business before you rely on them. Our liability is limited as described in the Terms & Conditions, except where the law does not allow that.
